The El Dorado Irrigation District Board of Directors normally meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Regular meetings begin at 9:00 a.m. in the District's main headquarters building located at 2890 Mosquito Road, Placerville.
Agendas and Board information packets (containing agenda item summaries and staff reports) are available 72 hours prior to a regular board meeting. If you have any questions, please contact the clerk to the board at (530) 642-4055.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE
URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN 2015 UPDATE
(Pursuant to the Urban Water Management Act, California Water Code, Division 6, Part 2.6, Section 10610 through 10657)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Dorado Irrigation District (District) proposes to adopt the Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) 2015 Update (adopted on June, 27, 2016) pursuant to the Urban Water Management Planning Act (Act.) The Act requires urban water suppliers providing municipal water to more than 3,000 connections or supplying more than 3,000 ac-ft of water annually to adopt and submit a plan every five years to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the District will conduct a public hearing to: (1) adopt a method, pursuant to California Water Code (CWC) § 10608.20, for determining its urban water use target in 2020, (2) allow community input regarding its UWMP for achieving its urban water use target, and (3) consider the economic impacts of its UWMP for achieving its urban water use target.
The UWMP will be discussed by the District Board of Directors at a meeting to be held on June 13, 2016 and is scheduled for adoption at or after 9:00 am at a public hearing to be held on June 27, 2016.
The public meeting and hearing will provide an opportunity for District customers and residents and employees in the service area to learn about and comment on existing water supply and District plans for providing a reliable, safe, high-quality water supply for the future.
