EID System Maintenance Program

The El Dorado Irrigation District is conducting preventive maintenance activities on the drinking water system and may be in your neighborhood. This maintenance is intended to enhance the reliability of the drinking water system. Crews are exercising valves, servicing fire hydrants, and flushing for water quality.

As a result of this maintenance, you may experience brief periods of low pressure, or even a brief loss of water service. Additionally, you may experience cloudy or discolored water. If this occurs, run an outside hose faucet for 5 to 10 minutes until the water clears up. If it does not clear, please call our office at (530)642-4000 for assistance.
