The District offers three options for you to obtain temporary water use for your project.

  •  Card lock bulk water stations. Seven stations are located within EID's service area. These card lock water stations provide water to customers with prepaid cards that are available at the District office. A straight commodity charge is applied to water from these stations. An initial minimum $10.00 purchase will provide the customer with a reusable, refillable cash card. The cards are reusable and should be treated as cash. Users must return to District headquarters to add additional funds to their card. No refunds are offered for unused balances. An application, including details of all fees and charges is available here. [PDF]
  • Fixed meter. These meters are located at the closest approved fire hydrant or blow-off to a customer project. The customer must have an approved permit for the District to set the hardware at the requested location. The customer must provide a hardware deposit to the District, and will pay a fee to set up the account. Approved connections are typically set within 2 business days after receipt of completed application and deposit. The customer will also be charged a daily rental fee, and commodity water charges. An application, including details of all fees and charges is available here. [PDF]
