In 2021 the EID Board of Directors declared that day-use fees would be waived on Earth Day (April 22). All other fees, including camping, remain in effect, along with all other policies and procedures. Day-use is first-come, first-served and limited to park capacity.

Jenkinson Lake, at the heart of Sly Park, is surrounded by over nine miles of trails that accommodate hikers, bikers and horses. All day-use areas are in close proximity to the lake and have access to picnic tables, barbecues, restrooms and water.
